Philippe Gilliéron invited as speaker to the awarding of the Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Jane Ginsburg

Wilhelm Gilliéron Attorneys Corp. is pleased to announce that our partner Philippe Gilliéron has been invited on November 5 by the University of Neuchâtel as a speaker to the ceremony rendered in the honour Professor Jane Ginsburg, Columbia University, daughter of the late Federal Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as a recipient of a Doctor Honoris Causa. Philippe will address the issue to know whether an opt in system as contemplated by intellectual property rights is a sustainable regime in a mass digital market, or whether an opt out system would not be economically more efficient.
